13 Tableau piles. 12 piles (the “Clock”) contain 4 face-down cards each and 1 pile (central pile) contains 3 face-down cards and 1 face-up card.

Tableau piles

• Move the revealed card under the pile at the corresponding hour (Ace, 1 o’clock; Two, 2 o’clock… Jack, 11 o’clock and Queen, 12 o’clock). Kings are placed under the central pile.
• When a card is placed under a pile, the top card of that pile will automatically be turned face up and will be the next card in play.
• Only the last card revealed can be played onto another tableau pile.
• The game is lost if all 4 Kings are revealed and face-down cards are still present.
